We are now looking for a range of teachers with KS2/KS3 and KS4 experience ready for September 2025

The teacher will:
Promote the general progress and well-being of individual pupils and of any class or group of pupils assigned them.
Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meet the expectations of the Teacher Standards.

Clinical Psychologist
Salary: £57,366 - £72,118

​​​​Purpose & Objective:
We are looking for a HCPC Registered practitioner psychologist of clinical, educational or counselling who is keen to have autonomy in creating and delivering new research led, bespoke multi-psychodynamic approaches and interventions to support our children and young people thrive at Maple House School.
We are looking for fun, passionate, dedicated, and driven professional to join our school. The clinical team will consist of three assistant physiologists across the the school who all work closely with the Headteacher, SENDCo, SLT, Pastoral Leads ,Teachers and young people. Our MDT will also consist of an Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist.

Housekeeping Assistants - Afternoons
​Salary: Hourly rate - £12.21 per hour

​
We are looking for a dedicated housekeepers who possess an understanding of health and safety, experience of cleaning large establishments and have excellent organisational skills. Working hours are to be agreed with both housekeepers. This will be 2 hours per day, term time plus 1 week in preparation for new terms. Additional hours may also be considered over school holidays..

Active Citizens Instructor

​
We are looking for a dedicated outdoor activities instructor with a creative, can do attitude, to support our outdoor activities curriculum. Active Citizens is an SEMH programme centred around relationships, confidence, resilience, mental well being and cultural capital. We provide opportunities every day for our students to learn outside of the classroom with each class being offsite once a week.

Purpose & Objective
​
​Under the instruction and guidance of the Head Teacher, Senior Leadership Team, Key Stage, Class Teacher and other professionals you will undertake educational activities and attend to the educational, personal and social needs of the pupils in order to support their learning and development and ensure their safety. You will assist in the support of small groups or individual pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.

Maintenance Manager

Hours/Basis: 40 hours per week / 52 weeks / Split shift to be discussed with the successful candidate.

Purpose & Objective
As our Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial part in supporting the students by keeping the school safe and ensure the smooth running of the school by performing daily operational duties comprising of cleaning, janitorial tasks, maintenance tasks, providing support to the school and liaising with contractors and overseeing health and safety checks for the headteacher.

SENDCo

Purpose & Objective
We are seeking an aspirational and dedicated SENCO to join our fantastic SEND Team. Our SENCO will be supporting the day-to-day operation of the department, ensuring that barriers to learning are identified and managed effectively, where you will assess needs, monitor teaching methods and student achievement, record progress and track interventions.
You will liaise with colleagues to identify students with hidden differences and support the assessment procedures, collecting and interpreting specialist assessment data for neurodivergent students to inform practice. You will be a hardworking and inspiring individual, possessing excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
You will have a recognised qualification or working towards in at least one area of SEND (e.g. Dip. SpLD, AMBDA, MA in Education) and will demonstrate previous experience of delivering SEN provision in a school. You will exhibit excellent professional knowledge and understanding, including comprehension of statutory frameworks that apply to Special Educational Needs.
