
Clinical Psychologist
Maple House School is an independent special school dedicated to providing exceptional education and support for young people aged 5 to 19 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as social and communication difficulties associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions. We are looking for a HCPC Registered practitioner psychologist of clinical, educational or counselling who is keen to have autonomy in creating and delivering new research led, bespoke multi-psychodynamic approaches and interventions to support our children and young people thrive at Maple House School.
We are looking for fun, passionate, dedicated, and driven professional to join our school. The clinical team will consist of three assistant physiologists across the the school who all work closely with the Headteacher, SENDCo, SLT, Pastoral Leads ,Teachers and young people. Our MDT will also consist of an Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist.

The post will involve undertaking Clinical Psychology/Psychotherapy duties whilst adhering to professional and regulatory guidelines, you will carry out assessments, design individualised plans and strategies. As well as implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions; report writing and multi-professional reviews you will provide advice, information, and training to staff, as well as parents, commissioners, and other agencies. You will be supported by Assistant Psychologists and a school staff team of nurturing and enthusiastic Teachers and LSA’s who are committed to providing the very best.
You and your team will be providing a unique and systematic high quality service within our schools, working with others to promote the wellbeing and best interests of our young people.
